Felony assault charges were brought against a Hickory man. 31 year old Marcos Phillip Sanchez was arrested by Hickory Police. He faces felony assault inflicting serious injury. The victim was a 46 year old female. Sanchez faces several other charges. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a $13,000 secured bond. Court dates are March 7th and March 10th.
