A Hickory man is facing an attempted murder charge. 30 year old Markevous Keyshawn Mayfield was charged with one felony count of attempted first degree murder and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill charges. Bond was set at $500,000 at the Catawba County Detention Facility.
