Over 5 pounds of methamphetamine were located in a Morganton man’s residence. 51 year old Gregory Travis Gowan faces felony trafficking methamphetamine among other drug charges. He was arrested on March 18th. Undercover officers had been investigating for sometime and executed a search warrant at the Coldwater St residence in Connelly Springs. Gowan was placed in the Burke County jail under a $100,000 secured bond. A court date was set for April 11th.
