Appalachian State announced plans to invest $20 million in Hickory. Renovations will be made to the old Corning building on Hwy 321 for the Hickory Campus. Members of the NC General Assembly toured the building with university leaders on Tuesday. The facility was purchased last November, plans are to begin classes there in the fall of 2023.
