A multi-phase stream restoration and renovation project is coming to Burke County. Morganton City Council approved plans to deal with flooding at Bethel Park by contracting Wildlands Engineering and applying for additional grants. A grant from the NC Lands and Water Fund of $500,000 has already been received. The project will take a few years to complete.
