A fatal wreck occurred in Morganton at the intersection of Kirksey Drive and Lenoir Road. The road was blocked for several hours after the accident around 815pm on Thursday. A motorcyclist was killed after being struck by another vehicle. The Morganton Department of Public Safety responded and believe impairment was not a factor, but charges are possible.
