A Catawba County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested for driving while impaired Saturday morning. 30 year old Ryan Lee Hamby, who was off duty, was arrested by Granite Falls Police around 3am. He had been assigned to the Patrol Division and has now been terminated. A court date is set for June 16th.
