Mental health services are being added to the Catawba County jail. According to the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office, the need for these services has majorly increased the last few years. The jail works with Partners Health Management and contracts with Catawba Valley Healthcare to provide mental health and substance abuse programs to inmates including diagnosis and treatment.
