The Hickory Police have made a kidnapping and robbery arrest. 40 year old Luis Alonso Torres faces first degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $40,000 bond. A court date is set for Monday.
