Two people are charged in a murder case in Hickory. 23 year old Davon Lavell Williams was arrested by Hickory Police on Monday. He faces murder charges in the shooting death of 23 year old Ontorio Nymier Metts on March 20th. Metts was found at Sunny Valley Apartments after an apparent confrontation. 34 year old Whitney Janae Gatewood faces felony accessory after the fact. Gatewood was placed in jail under a $150,000 bond, Williams is under no bond and has a court date set for April 25th.
