The Burke County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a deceased man was found on Friday. Officers were called to an assault on Spaniel St in Connelly Springs. A white male was found with no pulse. CPR was attempted, after EMS arrived he was pronounced dead at the scene. The name has not been released, the investigation continues.
