Burke County officials are looking for a murder suspect. A warrant was issued for 22 year old Nolan Smith for felony murder. The victim was identified as 35 year old Jonathan Carl Ross. His body was found last week in Connelly Springs as we previously reported. Further details on that cause of death have not been released. Agencies involved in this case include the Burke County Sheriff, NC Hwy Patrol, Icard Fire Dept, BC EMS and US Marshal’s Office.
