An investigation is continuing in a suspicious death. Hickory Police responded to a home on 8th Ave SE, where 29 year old Laura Matthews was found deceased early Sunday. No charges have been filed and the cause of death has not been determined. Anyone with information in the case is asked to call 828-328-5551.
