The primary election is today. Polls opened at 630am and close at 730pm. For information on your polling location check with your county board of elections. A few key races include the Burke County Sheriffs race between Richard Epley and Banks Hinceman and the Hickory Mayors race with incumbent Hank Guess facing Quantae Hill and Al Hoover. That race was postponed from 2021 due to late census information.
