The City of Morganton has opened the splash pads at Martha’s Park and MLK Park early this year. Normally they open on Memorial Day weekend, but crews were able to open them this week and with temperatures

Vehicle break in charges were brought against a Lenoir man. 27 year old Cody Allen Rice was arrested by Caldwell County Sheriffs Officers. He also faces possession of methamphetamine and larceny and possession of stolen property charges.
