An investigation is continuing after a Caldwell County man died on Lake Hickory. The NC Wildlife Resources Commission reported the death of 36 year old Terry Josh Fowler of Granite Falls. He was thrown from a boat he was operating early Saturday. A passenger was also thrown from the boat and called 911 when he could not locate Fowler. The body was found around 11am Saturday. The incident took place in Burke County near the Hwy 321 bridge on Lake Hickory.
