End of an Era
A longtime staple restaurant in Hickory is being torn down. Shell’s Bar-B-Que on Springs Road will be demolished, it closed in August of 2020. A new Biscuitville restaurant will occupy that site in the next year.
Larceny Charge Filed
A Hickory man is charged with larceny in Caldwell County. 20 year old Daravan Rayshawn Stokley was also charged with felony breaking and entering and possession of stolen property. He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention
