Firearms charges were brought against a Hickory man. 22 year old Yorel Damir Scott was arrested by Hickory Police Department of Probation and Parole. He faces felony possession of a firearm by a felon among other charges. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a $125,000 bond. His next court date will be June 13th.
