The Burke County and Catawba County Sheriffs offices along with the State Bureau of Investigations were all investigating an area on Curley’s Fish Camp Rd in Hildebran Wednesday. The case involved a missing person from 2021. After evidence was gathered in the case of missing Anthony John Jaworsky, a warrant was issued for 23 year old Mark Anthony Ortiz for felonious disposal of a body. The investigation is ongoing.
