Two area law enforcement agencies are warning the public of a scam. The Catawba and Caldwell Sheriff’s offices reported citizens receiving texts involving the sale of t-shirts from law enforcement. In a statement, the offices said they do not sell shirts and would not solicit merchandise sales by text. The public is advised to delete the message, block the number and call law enforcement with any questions.
