Assault charges were brought against a Hickory man. 29 year old Montavious Quamae Sims was arrested by Hickory Police. He faces felony assault inflicting serious injury. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility under a $2,500 secured bond. A court date was held Monday, no future court dates were listed.
