MAIDEN – Representatives of Catawba County Schools broke ground on the site where the new 93,000 square foot Maiden Elementary School will be built. According to the press release, construction is anticipated to start this fall and may take 18-24 months to build. The project will cost an estimated 29.3 million dollars.
