Residents of Alexander County who frequent Bethlehem Park will be pleased to know that the AC Board of Commissioners approved a project to improve the park. The project is estimated to cost $750,000 dollars. Some of the goals for improvements will be replacing the bathrooms. Renovating the picnic shelter. They will also repave, and resurface the existing tennis courts, and construct a 12-foot wide paved drive to access the sewer pump station and handicap-accessible parking lot for the lower ball field, and a new storage shed.
