The latest unemployment rates for North Carolina are in and indicate the state saw a decrease in jobless percentages. The unemployment rate for Catawba County is 3.6 percent, down from 3.8 in October. Alexander County’s jobless rate is 3.3 percent, a decrease from 3.5 percent in the last report. Burke County’s unemployment rate is 3.6 percent, down from 3.8 in October. Caldwell County shows an unemployment rate of 3.7 percent, down from 3.9 percent in October.
