Catawba County Sheriff’s Officers arrested 39-year-old James Lee Fones of Lexington, North Carolina on Sunday, January 15th. Fones is facing charges of felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny. He was booked into the Catawba County Detention Facility and is being held on a $1,500 bond. As of earlier today, January 17th, Fones remains in jail and is scheduled to appear in District Court today.
