On February 8th, 2023, Shah Harrison, of Hickory, was sentenced to six to eight years in prison for trafficking methamphetamine and possession of stolen firearms. Harrison was arrested on July 22nd, 2021, after he sold large amounts of methamphetamine to a confidential informant on three separate occasions.
The investigation was led by D.A. Sigmon of the Hickory Police Department and Assistant District Attorney Hayden Duncan prosecuted the case, with assistance from Britnee Ulsamer. Harrison pleaded guilty to the charges on January 3rd, 2023, and his sentence was deferred until this week. He will now serve his sentence in the custody of the North Carolina Division of Adult Corrections.
