On Friday, February 3rd, police arrested 38-year-old Chad Joseph Caesar of Hickory on three felony counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Caesar was arrested without incident at his residence and taken to the Catawba County Detention Facility, where he was held under an $85,000 secured bond. He has since been released. A first appearance in District Court was held on Monday, February 6th in Newton. No additional court dates have been announced at this time. The Hickory Police Department is actively investigating the case and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
