Young man arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicle

Troutman Police officers arrested 18-year-old Isaac Jacob White of Mooresville on Friday (February 17), charging him with three felony counts of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. According to police, the incident began the day prior, Thursday (February 16), when officers located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Mooresville. When officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, the driver attempted to flee in the vehicle before coming to a stop in the 400 block of Old Mountain Road. The driver, White, was then taken into custody. White was taken to the Iredell County Detention Center, where he was held under a $10,000 secured bond. His next District Court date is scheduled for March 8 in Statesville.
