Travon Marquise Berry, a 28-year-old resident of Hickory, has been arrested by Conover Police on two felony warrants and charged with misdemeanor larceny. Berry is a fugitive awaiting extradition to Texas, where he is wanted for driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. He is also wanted for assault on a family member and possession of a controlled substance in Bexar County, Texas. Berry was taken into custody on March 7th and is being held without bond on the assault warrant, as well as a $9,000 secured bond on the other fugitive warrant, and a $500 bond on the larceny charge. He was due to appear in District Court on March 8th and will appear in court for the larceny charge on April 6th. The charges against him are serious and he may face severe consequences if convicted.
