The James “Vernon” Tarlton III Venture Wing was unveiled at the Catawba Valley Community College’s Workforce Solutions Complex. The wing honors James “Vernon” Tarlton III, a military veteran and former owner of Vernon Tarlton Construction. The Complex houses technology and engineering programs, including Computer Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, and Mechatronics and Robotics. A new painting honoring Vernon’s father was also unveiled during the ceremony. CVCC Foundation accepts tax-deductible gifts for supporting the college.
