On April 1st, an unknown person shot at a couple, prompting the wife to call 911. The husband, Prosper Nyatorwonu, sustained serious injuries and passed away at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center on April 4th. The Hickory Police Department is investigating and asking for assistance from anyone with knowledge of the incident.
