Caldwell County Children who struggle to have enough food over the Summer are getting some help. More than 800 students are fed everyday at 7 pick up sites across the county. Those sites are at Sawmills Municipal Park, Redwood Park, Yokefellow, Mulberry Recreation Center, Katz corner Apartments, Poplar Street Apartments, and the Martin Luther King Center. Lunch will be served at these sites for 30 minutes each day, the times differ from each site. These free lunches are available courtesy of a grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
