The Hickory Police department reports arresting a Hickory woman following an alleged assault. The report state that 59-year-old betty Katherine Wilfong was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Police say that Wilfong was in possession of a lethal cutting instrument at the time of her arrest. She was jailed under a $20,000 bond.
Hickory police also report arresting a man on larceny charges. Reports state that 43-year-old Jonathon Glenn Wilson of hickory is charged with being a habitual felon and was jailed under a $10,000 bond.
