The Lenoir City Council has approved the budget for next fiscal year. The budget includes a $1 increase in the solid waste fee, which will now be $12 per month. If residents use 5,000 gallons of water per month, they will see an increase in their water & sewer bill. City workers will receive a 4.5% cost of living increase and the city has committed over $400,000 to continue repaving streets in Lenoir.
