The Bags of Blessings food pantry, previously located at Mountain Grove Church, will open its new location this afternoon at Union Grove Baptist Church at 1808 Union Grove Road near Caldwell County’s Baton community. The building dedication is at 4 p.m. today, followed by food distribution from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Pastor Sam Craven said they plan to serve 250 to 500 local families. Bags of Blessings distributions will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month and are free and open to anyone in need.
