The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 67-year-old David Marlowe of Hiddenite Thursday following an alleged road rage incident and shooting around 10 a.m. at the corner of NC 90 and Cheatham Ford Road in Stony Point.
The victim was later found at a convenience store in Iredell County with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder. Based on witness statements, officers located Marlowe and charged him with one count of felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Marlowe was given a secure bond of $50,000 and a court date of July 3.
