The North Carolina Association of School Resource Officers recently named Catawba County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Dale Lail, SRO for St. Stephens High School, as the C.C. McGee School Resource Officer of the Year. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to the officer’s school, law enforcement agency and community. Deputy Lail has been serving St. Stephens since 2007.
