The Caldwell County Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors recently donated $4,270 to the Tuttle Forest Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to preserving and improving Tuttle Educational State Forest.
The funds will help continue the conservation and education work done through the state forest. Specifically, the money will be used to refurbish amphitheaters in the park as well as replace tree identification signs.
