A shooting in Hickory Sunday evening sent a 26-year-old woman to the hospital and law enforcement is asking for the public’s help to locate the suspect. According to Hickory Police Department, a woman was shot in the neck at 814 1st Street SW. As of Monday, she was in critical condition.
According to witnesses, a young black male with a handgun fired several rounds at a group. The suspect fled on foot and as of Monday had not been located. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551.
