Lenoir-based Blue Ridge Energy has been named by the Best Companies Group to the list of 2023 Great Employers in North Carolina. Blue Ridge Energy, which serves northwest North Carolina and parts of Virginia, was ranked number 2 on the list of companies with fewer than 249 employees.
The recognition is based on a company assessment and employee surveys on workplace policies, business philosophy, employee culture, community involvement, and best practices to recruit and retain top talent. Blue Ridge Energy employs 216 workers in six offices, including showrooms in Lenoir, Boone, West Jefferson, Sparta and Morganton.
