Grant Brings More Broadband to Area

Approximately 132 households and businesses in Caldwell County will have access to high-speed internet thanks to a $756,150 Growing Rural Economies with Access to Technology grant.

It will bring broadband to households and businesses along the U.S. 321 corridor in northern Caldwell County, as well as the Grandin area. Caldwell County is one of 33 counties in North Carolina to receive funds from the most recent round of grants.

This award is the third grant to improve broadband access that Caldwell County has received in three years.
