It’s back to school time for local college students as Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute and Catawba Valley Community College begin their fall semesters today. Western Piedmont Community College begins its fall semester on Tuesday, followed next week by the first day of classes at Appalachian State and Lenoir-Rhyne universities on Monday, Aug. 21.
