The North Carolina Department of Transportation will host a meeting from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today for the public to learn more about plans for Exit 118 on Interstate 40 in Burke County. The project would realign existing ramps and approaching roads. The drop-in style meeting will be held at the First Baptist Church of Hildebran. Project staff will be present for on-on-one discussions, to answer questions and receive comments.
