Jalen Tremain Crowell was arrested Monday by the U.S. Marshals Service after he was located in Charlotte. The 31-year-old Hickory man has been charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted first degree murder in connection to the homicide of Khalil Rhynhart and attempted murder of Eric Rhynhart last November in Hickory.
It’s the third arrest in the case, with the first two taking place in late 2022. Crowell is currently in custody at the Catawba County Jail under no bond. Anyone with information regarding the investigation is encouraged to call the Hickory Police Department at 828-328-5551.
