The Caldwell County Health and Human Services Building in Lenoir will be closed today (Friday, Sept. 1) for the installation of a new generator. As a result, the Health Department will not administer vaccines or see patients. The Department of Social Services will operate remotely from the first floor of the Caldwell County Public Library, located at 120 Hospital Ave., Lenoir. Phone access will be limited for DSS, Health, Planning and Building Inspection. The building will reopen for business on Tuesday at 8 a.m.
