This week’s free Sails Original Music Series will have a change of venue. Held at the Samuel William Davis Sr. Multipurpose Field in Hickory tonight at 7 p.m. this week’s concert will feature Amanda Anne Platt & The Honeycutters, a country roots band from Asheville.
Calling all Swifties! – The Conover Branch of the Catawba County Library will host a free teen program Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. Teens are encouraged to wear their Eras tour outfit and join in several Taylor Swift themed activities including karaoke, making bracelets, trivia and more.
And one more reminder about the Granite Falls Merchants Association Festival on Main – Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. downtown. There will be lots free activities for all ages, as well as live music and crafts and food vendors.
