The North Carolina Senate Committee on Redistricting and Elections will have a meeting at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26 in the Atrium Room at Appalachian State University’s Hickory Campus. Senator Warren Daniel will be presiding. The purpose of this meeting is to gather public comment for the 2023 redistricting process. App State’s Hickory Campus is located at 800 17th St NW. The hearing starts at 4 p.m. with doors opening and in-person sign up to speak beginning at 3 p.m. To sign up online to speak, visit ncleg.gov/requesttospeak/70.
