The Alexander County Board of Education will host a community town hall meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. at the Alexander County Auditorium at Alexander Central High School. The purpose of the meeting is to share information about the current state of the budget, invite the community to sign up for work sessions and communicate the next steps of the process. Based on interest, there will be additional work groups from Oct. 23 through Oct. 27 and Nov. 6 through Nov. 10.
