City of Lenoir facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24, 2023, in celebration of Thanksgiving. Sanitation collection will be affected.
Sanitation Division will collect garbage as scheduled on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23. Staff not operate on Friday, Nov. 24. Garbage normally collected on Friday will be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 22. All other household garbage pickups will remain on a normal schedule.
There will be no bulk collections this week. The recycling center on Pennton Avenue will operate on a normal schedule. For more information about sanitation services, click the following link, Sanitation.
The Lenoir Aquatic & Fitness Center will also be closed Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 and 26.
