When the New Year dawns, Sherri Bradshaw, Drexel town manager, will have begun a new chapter in her life. Retirement.
After roughly 26 years of service, the East Burke grad’s last official day is Dec. 31. Bill Carroll, also an East Burke grad, will take over as Drexel Town Manager on Jan. 1, 2024.
First as Town Clerk, then as Town Manager, Bradshaw’s career has focused on doing for others, maintaining a respectful environment for citizens and employees, and selflessly fostering whatever she could to help make Drexel the best town it could possibly be.
